This week, I'm taking a closer look at food products specifically designed with women in mind—especially those tailored to the needs of aging women. Of course, I am in that target market, so I have a heightened awareness and interest, but as the market evolves, I'm seeing a wave of new launches that focus on health, wellness, and nutrition, addressing the unique challenges and opportunities women face as they age. From functional foods that support bone health to snacks fortified with essential vitamins, these innovations are setting new standards in the industry, and targeting a multi-million pound opportunity and dynamic segment. However, I caution against the "take everything" approach, as I go on this journey, I've discovered that women need to take a personalised approach, and navigate what's right for them.
